By relocating high-TDP accelerators into a dedicated external expansion node, you eliminate the heat and power burden from the host server node. This iinovative hardware architecture allows compact servers to utilize full-sized, high-wattage cards—such as the NVIDIA H200—that would otherwise be impossible to house or cool internally.
RocketStor 8600 Series enclosures integrate Active Retimer technology, to ensure hosted PCIe devices maintain a "locked" 64GB/s Gen5 x16 connection at distances up to 2 meters. HighPoint External CopprLink PCIe Architecture is built upon the PCI-SIG CopprLink (CDFP) specification (SFF-TA-1032), providing a truly vendor-neutral hardware environment for the next generation of data center infrastructure.
