HighPoint’s Rocket 700 series Connectivity HBAs are cost-effective, ultra high-density 12G SAS/6G SATA storage solutions for Windows, Linux and VMware based server platforms. The compact PCIe HBAs devices can be easily installed into industry standard x86 computing platforms and can directly host up to 48 SAS or SATA drives, or up to 128 via SAS Expansion backplanes. Rocket 700 HBAs utilize robust, self-locking SFF-8643 ports, which support a wide range of cabling options. The unique controller board architecture maximizes port-density & per-port transfer bandwidth by leveraging the robust PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface and intelligent switching technology. This enables Rocket 700 series HBA’s to deliver up to 14,000MB/s of transfer bandwidth.

Ideal for HCI Server Applications

HCI (Hyperconverged Infrastructure) provides a cost-effective alternative to conventional Data Center solutions.
