The SSD6444 is an ultra- compact, high-performance NVMe RAID storage solution for PC and Mac platforms.
The flexible, high-performance hardware architecture leverages intelligent PCIe switch technology to allocate x4 lanes of host bandwidth to each NVMe SSD. This enables the enclosure to deliver up to 14,000MB/s of transfer performance using just 4 NVMe SSDs.
Secure, Compact & Portable
At less than 5 inches tall, and only 6 inches wide, the SSD6444 is one of the most compact 4-bay storage enclosures in today’s marketplace. The vertically aligned 2.5” drive trays allow for a marked reduction in chassis height and mass, which ideal for applications that require a portable, easily serviced high-speed mass storage solution.
The highly secure, self-locking cables are unique to HighPoint NVMe RAID solutions, are available in lengths up to 2 meters, and deliver x16 lanes of dedicated host-to-device connectivity to ensure maximum throughput.
The SSD6444’s discreet, half-height PCIe HBA is available as an accessory, and can be installed into any computing platform with a free PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 x16 slot. This enables administrators to share a single SSD6444 enclosure amongst multiple workstations.

Industry Proven NVMe RAID Technology
The SSD6444 is powered by HighPoint’s industry proven PCIe 3.0 NVMe RAID engine, and is capable of supporting one or more RAID 0, 1, 10 arrays or single SSD configurations.
RAID 0 (Speed) - Also known as a “stripe” array, this mode delivers Maximum Performance, and requires a minimum of 2 NVMe SSD’s.
RAID 1 (Security) – RAID 1 is ideal for applications that require a level of data protection. This mode creates a hidden duplicate of the target SSD, and requires 2 NVMe SSDs to configure.
RAID 10 (Security & Speed) - RAID 10 requires a 4 NVMe SSD’s and is comprised of a stripe between two RAID 1 arrays. RAID 10 capable of delivering read performance on par with RAID 0, and is superior to RAID 5 for NVMe applications. Unlike RAID 5, RAID 10 doesn’t necessitate additional parity related write operations, which reduce the TBW life span of NVMe SSD’s.

The SSD6444 includes comprehensive suite of graphical and command-line based management and monitoring tools suitable for administrators of any experience level.
The WebGUI is a simple, intuitive graphical user interface designed to work with all modern Web Browsers. It is equipped with Wizard-like quick configuration menus as well as a suite of advanced tools for expert administrators.
The CLI (Command Line Interface) is ideal for seasoned administrators or platforms that do not utilize graphical operating systems.
SHI (Storage Health Inspector) - allows administrators to instantly check the operating status of NVMe media in real-time. SHI utilizes SMART technology to log and report the physical characteristics of each SSD, such as temperature, voltage and TBW (Total Bytes Written).
Intelligent 1-Click Self-Diagnostic Solution: HighPoint’s Web-based graphical management suite (WebGUI) now includes a host of automated diagnostic tools designed to streamline the troubleshooting process, even for novice administrators. The Diagnostic tab enables the interface to gather all necessary hardware, software and storage configuration data and compile it into a single file, which can be transmitted directly to our FAE Team via our Online Support Portal.
