HPT M236 Series
12G SAS / 6G SATA RAID Storage & Connectivity IC Kits
The HPT M236 Series of IC kits enable solution providers to integrate up to 16 independent 12Gb/s SAS channels into a unique hardware solution, and are ideal for applications that require high-performance RAID technology or cost-effective SAS/SATA connectivity. HPT M236 ICs can support directly support up to 16 12G SAS and 6G SATA hard disks or SSDs of any capacity, or as many as 128 vis SAS expansion, and are compatible with industry standard x86 Intel and AMD, and ARM based computing platforms.
HighPoint RAID Technology
HighPoint's industry proven SAS/SATA RAID engine is capable of supporting one or more RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 or 50 arrays, and single disk configurations. RAID enabled device drivers and management suites are available for current Windows and macOS operating systems, and major Linux distributions including RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.
Custom software packages are available upon request. Customers that require additional Linux support, or a binary driver for a particular kernel range or unique distribution can contact their HighPoint Sales Representative for more information.
