A: Please check the power LED on the front panel of the RocketStor enclosure and make sure the enclosure is powered on. If the power LED is not on, check the Setup-Enclosure section of the Quick Installation Guide. If the unit is powered on, but is not detected by the WebGUI, please verify the controller and driver status.
A: There are several possible causes:
First, please make sure the enclosure is powered on. If the power LED is not on, check the Setup-Enclosure section of the Quick Installation Guide.
Please login to the WebGUI and check the array’s status. If the array status is Disabled, it will not be recognized or accessed by the operating system. Please check the User Guide for more information about the Disabled status.
A new disk or RAID array must be partitioned and formatted with the operating system’s disk utility before the operating system can mount and utilize the RAID array.
A: Make sure the latest Thunderbolt software and firmware has been installed for your system. Out of date Thunderbolt driver or firmware versions may prevent the operating system from recognizing new drives, even if they are detected by the Thunderbolt device. We would recommend contacting your system/motherboard manufacturer for the appropriate update.
