“Disabled” mark(399)

Question

I saw a “Disabled” mark shown on RAID management GUI applications and I couldn’t access my RAID disk.

Answer

“Disable” means disk members in the RAID array have exceeded the minimum requirement for that RAID level. Therefore data can’t maintain its accuracy any more. To recover RAID disk status from “Disabled” to “Normal”, you need to use RAID management GUI “recover feature” to reset the RAID back to original. After RAID disk is back, first backup data and fix bad disks as soon as possible before starting to use the RAID disk again.
