Question

Why is the controller BIOS not seen during boot up but it is seen in the OS?

Answer

In some motherboards it is necessary to change the onboard SATA controller settings from RAID mode to AHCI or IDE so the RocketRAID series BIOS will show up during system POST. This is a temporary workaround until we can find a solution.

Step 1: Boot up and enter motherboard BIOS
Step 2: Go to Onboard Storage Controllers
Step 3: Change the mode from RAID or AHCI to IDE mode
Step 4: Save and reboot the system. Check during boot up if the controller BIOS is detected.
