Answer:
Yes, the R100 supports bootable hard disk drives. The R100's BIOS allows you to select any drive attached to the card to act as the boot disk.

NOTE: The motherboard's BIOS must be set to boot from the R100 card (HPT370A controller), or a SCSI device.
