Answer:
The R100 host adapter utilizes the HPT370A IDE controller IC, and can support up to 4 hard disk drives.

The R100 supports 48-bit LBA, which means it is compatible with drives larger than 137GB.

The Rocket100 supports transfer rates up to ATA100, and is backwards compatible with older hard disk drives. ATA133 drives can also be used with the card (though the transfer rate is limited to ATA100).
